So my Ford Figo petrol was due for service at approx. 26,000 kms. I switched to a different service centre located at Dwarka instead of Harpreet Motors at Moti Nagar, Delhi. Need advice on the following please:
1) Service centre personnel advised to replace brake pads for Rs. 2200/-. Is it okay for a car to have brake pads replaced at 26,000 kms? My driving is in the city all the time so I suspect this being the contributor.
2) I also informed them for wheel alignment and tyre rotation to which they said that the tyres have uneven wear. The car was shod with MRF so wondering if the life for these tyres is good enough considering I did ensure tyre rotation at each service with intervals of 10,000 kms.
3) The rear left tail light was not getting lit. They have suggested replacement of the entire unit at Rs. 2400/-. Any ideas on this as well?
Ford’s service levels are getting a bit difficult to comprehend as my car has aged so please help guys!
